Late this month.  It's OK, no change to the charts anyway.  This will probably not be the story for April.  I just love charting music. The late winter drags on.  I am enjoying music I find, but it has been a long while since I had seen any live music.  I just don't have passion to do so.  I do not want to be one of those people there who simply stand, wait for a song to complete, then applaud.  To me, it's personal - I need to enjoy it, to feel it.  Not that I would be in a trance or hypnotized, but still.   So if I am not really WANTING in the first place to see live music, I probably see no reason to venture out to do so. Anyway, I am missing a lot since I see from Facebook feeds that there are local bands out there, some I actually know of, entertaining the masses.  I just hate going alone and knowing no one.  That's awkward.  I really need to be IN a band.  It's possible I am definitely one of those weird, ...

Well, just like October of 2015, I am very late posting for this month. Been busy, as usual.  Again....thank God graduate school is done, because all this stuff keeping me busy now are things that are PLEASURABLE, low stress, and FUN.... I do like my field of study, but it is a challenge.  I remain on vacation from it, until after Thanksgiving, at which time I will try to network, keep up with the industry, and who knows - maybe connect with a great employment opportunity. I love the autumn.   The cooler weather is a nice break.  I have fallen out of workout mode, and feel like a lump on a log.  But I AM spending time working on guitar and the arts, basically.  I hope to see maybe one play every 5-6 weeks, and take cues on acting.   Acting class chugs along - started a few weeks ago.  I have mixed feelings on it - it is something like 15 weeks long, and expensive.  Thus far, I question on the length of it (FIFTEEN WEEKS!?!) and...

Things are getting scary across the globe.  Europe is following the same path it did prior to WWII, pretty much.   Maybe not.  But the wave of anti-muslim feeling continues to grow there.  I can't speak for anyone in Europe - I do hope that it's directed toward the asinine extremist terrorists. I always loved the German word for that - "terroristen".  Those people are just crazy.  How can ANY devotion to a religion have you act that way?  I understand the Koran (I don't care how it's properly spelled at this point) is loaded with directives for antagonism against infidels and non-believers in Mohammed and Allah (or something like that).  There are the know-it-alls:  "well, the Bible does that, too".... No, no, it really does not. You can take anything out of context. Or, out of the Old Testament. Show me where Jesus deliberately, explicitly said "yea, kill them", where it was not part of an illustrative fable He was preaching. I am not...

Contentment of November turns to complacency.  I am not motivated to do much except keep up with my class. I just can't adapt to middle age. I don't feel I'm in 'my place'. I had NEVER felt that way - never comfortable in my own skin. Frankly I am sick of 'hearing' myself as I type this shit for what now?  The last two years or so?  There is little point, it seems, to continue this way.  Hey, I am not ungrateful for what I have - running water, indoor plumbing, a roof over my head, knowing I (probably) won't get shot by a sniper like some poor person in Syria or something. Yes, I am fully aware of the torment a lot of people go through daily just to stay alive, let alone be happy. But it's hard to explain how overwhelming frustration and sadness are. Music.....Geoff Tate's Queensryche hits the top spot!  Pretty good album. The haters (and Tate has a lot on youtube!) can hate - its a great song, it really is. I think the guitar solo was done...
