Late this month....this should be the last month that I slack like this...

BECAUSE I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL.....forever!

I am now equipped with a Master's Degree in a particular sub-area of Civil Engineering, so I guess in a way, I am a "somebody", even though I do not have my professional license.

I don't want to THINK about advancing the career, possibly for a better paying job or something like that.  I just am tired of starting again....like the song "Best of You" by the Foo Fighters says.

It's OK - the current status quo isn't bad.   By the end of the year, I will think about possibly looking for a better job, and studying up on things to maybe take the PE exam in 2017 or 2018.  

But for now, I just want to relax, enjoy some things, possibly try to build some semblance of a social life...maybe get laid some time, which would be great.  Last winter, I actually did get some action.  I hated the idea of an online type of hookup thing - but it got me three women who liked the picture of my fat dick enough to want to meet up and do it...and so it happened.  

But I honestly do believe in relationships, if not marriage for this kind of thing. Yes, I know I am a total hypocrite, but realize last winter's sex-athon (8 times in about 40 days with three women...so, not bad) broke a LONG dry spell....too long that I am embarrassed to say exactly the length of time it was. 

This may be the CRUDEST of my posts...but I am in a decompression mode...being done with school, and letting manners slide. I just don't care for now. I take the elevator in my apartment building with my shirt removed (coming from the hot sun outside).  If someone were to enter the lift, tough.  

Just...don't...worry about such things.

I will later on return to a better standard, but for now, like it was said: DECOMPRESSION MODE.

I haven't enjoyed newer music much since May because of the demands of the approaching end of semester.  So, not much movement from last month.  

The satanists are in the top spot:  grammy winners Ghost.  They are weird.  I do not like their album, although people at the youtube comments area of "Cirice" rave about it.  

"Cirice" is great, though - just a brooding, glum kind of song with a good riff. The solo really is some beautiful guitar, though.  

Nothing else of note, except that ten years ago, Godsmack entered with the cool song "Speak".  They might be the most charted band on my Top 5...I can't imagine what other band it COULD be but Godsmack.  I will have to verify that some day.

OCTOBER 2013

This month's is very late. Next week it will have to be updated again. Two new entries, from bands I had previously never heard of, and will probably not hear from again!  In any case, the new entries are great, uplifting, dare i say 'joyous' rock songs. Radiana is holding on to a very respectable showing. I think it was #1 for just a week, but let's face it - ANY artist covets a showing in my Top 5.  FACT! "Aunt Betty" is one of those songs with a very heavy rhythm and perhaps vocals I find poignant that just dominate. An example of that might be Stone Temple Pilots' "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart", which was on the charts for EIGHT months. FEBRUARY 2016

OK, my final class for graduate school is...a bear. I am struggling, but persevering. Besides that, things are going OK.  I am feeling good physically - I am working out, not indulging too much in chocolate or sweets (my kryptonite), and taking care of my back.  I have to see a doctor next week for a persistent problem in my throat, though - it's like a cold, but without a sore throat or other symptoms.  I only have a restrictive passageway at times (trouble swallowing food), and phlegm.  Isn't that just sexy?  But it's not a cold or a virus or anything - antibiotics don't work. That's it for now - gotta hit the books. Music.... Late this month, but that's OK. I am pretty sure the monthly Top 5 the way it looks now is how it would have had I updated it at the beginning of February.   Another entry by Mastodon!  This may not be the last one (it is currently the fourth) from the album.  There could be at least one more Top 5er. ...

May 2018

I am at a strange peace.  I went to church tonight, and as usual, my mind strayed for most of it.  Sorry, but I have some kind of adult deficit disorder thing.  At least I went.  I do take spirituality seriously.  I can honestly say I have my doubts ANYTHING about it is true, but at the same time, my mind finds justification about the existence of God.  Hmmm...nah, will delve into it in a future posting, maybe. Well, I took a scalding hot shower after re-reading my previous month's post.  Yes, with clear conscious I was involved in meaningless encounters, but I wince when I read what sounds like gloating about it.  I probably will never have a long lasting, deep relationship.  I think I've known this for over 2 decades. I just can't do it - I am damaged in a way and that is why marriage will never happen, I guess. But that in no way means a life is mis-used.
